GLAM MEDIA LAUNCHES GLAMMOBILE, THE FIRST BRAND ENGAGEMENT ADS & CONTENT PLATFORM FOR MOBILE DEVICES

Tokyo, Japan; Silicon Valley, CA and New York, NY—September 12, 2009—Glam Media, Inc. (www.GlamMedia.com), the pioneer of vertical networks, today announced the launch of GlamMobile, a mobile brand ads and content platform. GlamMobile launched in Japan, and will be followed by additional markets in Europe and the U.S. Japanese mobile audiences can now visit http://m.glam.jp on their cell phones to access Glam Media mobile content in three channels: fashion, beauty and accessories with additional channels rolling out later this year.

The advertising partners for the launch GlamMobile in Japan include Maybelline New York from Loréal, Diesel and Unilever. Mobile partner sites include Shogakukan and Shueisha, and publishers in the Glam Japan publisher network.

GlamMobile Brand Ad Server
The GlamMobile Ad Server is a new rich-media brand ad platform built by Glam Media Labs Japan that delivers rich media and display ads on mobile phones. The Mobile ad server uses GlamAdapt for targeting allowing advertisers through their agencies to automatically use DART/DoubleClick for campaigns that are delivered through the new GlamMobile Ad Server.

GlamMobile Ad Server first identifies the Telco Mobile Network, then the phone device resolution and rich media and/or Flash availability, nd then uses GlamAdapt targeting to determine the context, audience, time, placement and engagement targeting and then delivers the mobile ad. This delivers the first contextually targeted brand ads on most mobile devices.

GlamMobile Content Platform for Publishers
Glam Media is working with select publishers to enable their web sites and blogs to be available from mobile devices using the GlamMobile Content platform. This provides additional reach and revenue for publishers.
