GLAM MEDIA OPENS INTERNATIONAL HEADQUARTERS IN LONDON, CONTINUES GLOBAL EXPANSION ON THE HEELS OF RECENT $50M FUNDING

Wednesday, April 14th, 2010

London, England; Silicon Valley, CA and New York, NY — April 14, 2010 — Glam Media, Inc. (www.GlamMedia.com), the number one vertical media company with the largest global reach for women online, today announced the opening of an international headquarters in London to drive the company’s global expansion. The office will be run by Co-Founder & EVP, Glam Global Partners, Ernie Cicogna, who has moved to London as General Manager, International.

The new office opening marks Glam’s continued global expansion, following the recent investment of $50M by private investors and reaching over 160 Million Unique Visitors globally per month. Glam Media recently launched Glam Media France, on March 15, 2010 with an audience of 2.5M monthly uniques, as reported by comScore. This expansion builds upon Glam Media’s successes in the United States, UK, Germany and Japan, where Glam has become #1 in the Women’s Lifestyle vertical. Glam Media aims to become number one in reach for women in all markets it enters.

The international office will manage the diverse operations of Glam Media and drive the strategy for expansion worldwide. Ultimately Glam Media International expects to generate revenue equal to and eventually greater than revenues from North America.

Cicogna, formerly EVP & GM of the Glam Publisher Network, has more than 30 years of experience in financial and operational management and led the financial and publisher network teams in the US for Glam Media. Glam is also appointing Joerg Dreyer as CFO, Bernard Desarnauts moves to the newly created position of SVP, New Market Development, and Masato Uesu as CTO of Glam International today.

“As further evidence of our commitment to expand globally, we have opened our international headquarters outside the US in the multi-cultural city of London,” said Cicogna. “We are currently focused on building a centralized infrastructure to help expedite our growth. France was our first new market since the recent funding and we are actively evaluating other new markets, partners and strategic acquisitions for further expansion. I’m thrilled to be in London to head up this organization.”

“Glam Media has achieved great success and rapid growth in the US and internationally—even in the downturn growing at 25-50% year over year—based on the recognition five years ago that audiences online would shift away from portals and large sites in favor of niche publishers and blogs that cover the specific verticals they are most passionate about,” said Samir Arora, chairman and CEO of Glam Media. “Our international expansion is evidence of this success of Glam’s model—vertical media— which is helping to drive the future of display advertising and we’re very excited to be opening our international headquarters in London to continue our hyper-growth trajectory.”

GLAM MEDIA LAUNCHES GLAMMOBILE IN THE US–iPAD CONTENT PUBLISHING & MOBILE BRAND ADS PLATFORM, OFFERING ADVERTISERS THE LARGEST REACH FOR WOMEN IN MOBILE

Thursday, April 8th, 2010

Silicon Valley, California and New York, New York—April 7, 2010—Glam Media, Inc. (www.GlamMedia.com), the number one vertical media company for women online, today announced the launch of the GlamMobile Publisher Platform for iPad & Mobile Devices, allowing advertisers the ability to reach the largest audience of women online, now on mobile devices. Already the leading mobile advertising network in Japan, Glam is now offering its mobile solutions for publishers and advertisers globally, helping Glam’s 1,500 publishers to optimize their sites for the mobile web and offering advertisers cross-platform reach for campaigns.

“Mobile devices are the fastest growing way that people are engaging with content on the Internet. As the leader in Vertical Media, Glam continues to pioneer technology that allows advertisers and publishers to engage users across the digital lifestyle,” said Samir Arora, chairman and CEO of Glam Media. “Across Glam’s 1,500 publisher properties, we are already seeing mobile traffic double quarter-over-quarter.”

For advertisers, Glam is offering multi-device engagement, replicating its vertical media model—reaching passionate, niche audiences at the same scale as portals—as well as high levels of engagement across platforms, including engagement on the iPad without the use of Flash or Shockwave. For publishers, Glam is helping provide additional ways to connect with audiences wherever they go, and thereby creating additional revenue opportunities through the GlamMobile Publisher Platform.

The Glam Vertical Network has more than 500,000 articles and posts, more than 100,000 videos and upwards of 20 million micro-blog posts today. GlamMobile will help publishers bring this valuable and “high-glossy” content to iPad and mobile devices, both through mobile-enabled properties and upcoming launches of iPad and iPhone apps.

Womensforum.com is an example of a Glam Media publisher that has already begun publishing for mobile devices through GlamMobile. Other publishers signed on at launch include Hollywire, Temptalia, and TheYBF, among others.

“Womensforum’s audience is made up of a community of millions of women who are constantly on-the-go,” said Jodi Beck, Co-Founder and Editor-in-Chief at Womensforum.com. “It’s so valuable to have a partner like Glam to help us give our audience access to the site, in a format that is optimized for mobile devices and the iPad, and to help us increase our revenue by offering advertisers cross-platform channels to engage with them.”

“Advertisers are looking for partners who can offer comprehensive targeting across the digital lifestyle, and when they can showcase their brand through multiple touch points with consumers across devices in one place, especially with a trusted partner like Glam, they are thrilled,” said Jack Rotolo, President and GM, North America, at Glam Media.

“GlamMobile has been a great success in Japan,” said Bud Uesu, CTO of Glam International. “The ability to offer brand ads that are not just text links, integrated and cross platform is very important to advertisers.”
