Top 10 Men of Media on Brash.com Look-a-Like Sweepstakes

OFFICIAL RULES
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY.  A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.  THE “TOP 10 MEN OF MEDIA ON BRASH.COM LOOK-A-LIKE SWEEPSTAKES" (THIS "SWEEPSTAKES") BEGINS AT 12:01 AM (ET) ON WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 22, 2008 AND ENDS AT 11:59 PM (ET) ON FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 21, 2008.

1.         HOW TO ENTER: Complete official entry form available at http://www.glammedia.com/advertisers/contest.php and click on "Submit."  ENTRIES MUST BE RECEIVED BY 11:59 PM (ET) ON FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 21, 2008.  Limit: one entry per person.  No incomplete entries will be accepted.  All entries become the exclusive property of Glam Media, Inc. ("Glam Media") and will not be returned.

2. VOTING. Votes will be collected via a form that lists all media executive look-alike nominees for the Top 10 Men of Media on Brash.com Look-a-Like Sweepstakes. Users may vote once and cannot change their votes.

3.         SELECTION OF WINNERS:

a. LOOK-A-LIKE SWEEPSTAKES WINNER: The Look-A-Like Sweepstakes Winner will be determined by the media executive that receives the most votes on the official entry form. In the event of a tie, the Look-A-Like Sweepstakes Winner will be determined by random drawing among the tied media executives on or about November 22, 2008, by Popular Media, LLC, an independent judging organization, whose decisions are final on all matters relating to this Sweepstakes.  Winners will be notified by e-mail.

b. RANDOM DRAWING WINNER: The Random Drawing Winner will be determined from all eligible entries received by random drawing on or about November 22, 2008, by Popular Media, LLC, an independent judging organization, whose decisions are final on all matters relating to this Sweepstakes.  Winners will be notified by e-mail.

4.         PRIZES AND ODDS:  Two (2) Grand Prizes: One (1) $500 Visa gift card awarded to the Look-A-Like Sweepstakes Winner; one (1) $500 Visa Gift card awarded to the Random Drawing Winner. Approximate Retail Value ("ARV") of each prize: $500.  Total ARV for all prizes: $1,000.  Odds of winning depend upon the number of eligible entries received.  Prizes will be awarded (assuming sufficient number of eligible entries). Glam Media is responsible only for prize delivery; not responsible for prize utility, quality or otherwise.  Glam Media reserves right to substitute prize of equal or greater value.  No other substitution or transfer of prize permitted.  Taxes and fees, if any, are the sole responsibility of each winner.

5.         ELIGIBILITY:  This Sweepstakes is open to individual legal residents of the United States (excluding Puerto Rico and U.S. territories and possessions) who have attained the age of majority in their state of residence of October 22, 2008, except employees (and their immediate families and members of the same household) of Glam Media and their respective affiliates, agents, judges, and advertising and promotion agencies. 

5.         VERIFICATION OF WINNERS AND DELIVERY OF PRIZE:  Each winner will be required to sign an affidavit of eligibility and liability release and, where permitted, a publicity release.  Prizes may be awarded to alternate winner if affidavits/releases are not returned within 14 days after mailing to winner or if prize notifications are returned as undeliverable.  Each winner agrees to Glam Media’s use of winner’s name, address, likeness, and/or prize information for promotional purposes in any medium without additional compensation to the extent permitted by law.  Prizes will be delivered to each winner’s U.S. residence within 4-6 weeks after such winner has been verified.

6.         GENERAL:  This Sweepstakes is void outside the United States and where prohibited or restricted by law and subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations.  This Sweepstakes will be governed by the internal laws of the State of New York without regard to principles of conflicts of law or choice of law (other than Section 5-1401 and Section 5-1402 of the General Obligations Laws of the State of New York).  Any and all legal actions or claims arising in connection with this Sweepstakes must be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction within the United States of America.  Glam Media and judges not responsible for late, lost, stolen, damaged, garbled, incomplete, misaddressed, postage due, or misdirected entries, mail or communications, for errors, omissions, interruptions, deletions, defects, or delays in operations or transmission of information, in each case whether arising by way of technical or other failures or malfunctions of computer hardware, software, communications devices, or transmission lines or data corruption, theft, destruction, unauthorized access to or alteration of entry materials, loss or otherwise.  Further, Glam Media and judges not responsible for electronic communications which are undeliverable as a result of any form of active or passive filtering of any kind, or insufficient space in entrant's e-mail account to receive e-mail messages.  The use of automated software or computer programs to register or to enter the Sweepstakes is prohibited and any individual who uses or attempts to use such methods to register or to enter will be disqualified.  Glam Media disclaims any liability for damage to any computer system resulting from participation in, or accessing or downloading information in connection with, this Sweepstakes, and reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to modify, cancel, terminate or suspend this Sweepstakes should any virus, bug, technical failures, unauthorized human intervention or other causes beyond Glam Media’s control corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes.  In the event of any such cancellation, termination or suspension, a notice will be posted and a random drawing will be held from among all eligible, non-suspect entries received prior to such time.  Glam Media reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any entrant (and his or her Sweepstakes entry) from this Sweepstakes or any other promotion conducted now or in the future by Glam Media or any of its affiliates if he or she tampers with the entry process or if his or her fraud or misconduct affects the integrity of the Sweepstakes.  Glam Media reserves the right to correct clerical or typographical errors in promotional materials.  In the event of a dispute over the identity of an on-line entrant, entry will be deemed submitted by the authorized holder of the e-mail account as of date of entry.  An "authorized holder" means the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an internet access provider, on-line service provider, or other organization that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address.  By participating in this Sweepstakes, each entrant accepts the conditions stated in these Official Rules, agrees to be bound by the decisions of the judges and warrants that s/he is eligible to participate in this Sweepstakes. By accepting prize, each winner agrees to release Glam Media and their respective directors, employees, officers, and agents, including without limitation, their respective advertising and promotion agencies, from any and all liability, loss or damages arising from or in connection with the awarding, receipt and/or use or misuse of prize or participation in any prize-related activities.

7.         CAUTION.  ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THIS SWEEPSTAKES IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS.  SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, GLAM MEDIA RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH INDIVIDUAL TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

8. WINNERS LIST:  To obtain list of winners, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to: Glam Media, Inc., Attn: Top 10 Men of Media on Brash.com Look-A-Like Sweepstakes, 8000 Marina Blvd., Suite 130, Brisbane, CA 94005. Requests must be received by January 15, 2009.  Winners list will be sent after prizes have been awarded.
